Our Safety Policy

At AG Hanson Construction Ltd. (AGHC), we believe that safety must be our first concern and priority.

It follows that protecting all employees and the general public is the most important part of accomplishing a safe and productive work day. With this belief in mind, we are committed to providing quality workmanship and true professionalism by maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all employees through the use of a comprehensive occupational health and safety program.

To meet this goal, AGHC will strive to be a model for our industry and ensure that all our personnel meet and exceed the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety regulations of British Columbia.

On behalf of the Ownership group, Management will set a positive example by continuously implementing and supporting AGHC’s Occupational Health and Safety Program. They will do this by the following: assist in raising workplace awareness, assure that supervisors, employees and hired contractors are trained to work safely, evaluate safety procedures and take positive action to eliminate any hazards.

Employees and subcontractors will set a good example by adhering to all safety rules and regulations outlined in the company’s Occupational Health and Safety Program. To achieve a zero injury work place, employees and sub-contractors must conduct themselves in a manner that does not endanger the wellbeing of themselves or others.

Overall the objective of our Occupational Health and Safety Program is to meet the best interests of all personnel by assuring that no individual is allowed to work in a manner that endangers life or health.

Everyone must assume responsibility for safety as a personal duty.
